Susan Phillips qualified from Bristol University in 1993. In 1999, she completed her three-year Masters Degree in Elder Dental Care at London University, graduating with distinction. In 2013 she completed a three year post graduate diploma at Bristol University on gum disease and restorative dentistry.
Dr Phillips has lived and worked locally for over twenty years and is able to offer all aspects of dentistry including general dentistry, smile makeovers and tooth whitening.
Simon qualified from Bristol Dental school in 1996 having previously qualified as a Dental technician in 1989. As a result and having worked on both aspects of denture construction Simon really enjoys making dentures for patients and takes great pride in his work. Simon has also attended the prestigious post-graduate Tipton restorative dentistry course which covers fillings and crowns and bridges to an advance level and as a result he enjoys challenging cases.
Simon spent ten years in Somerset as a general dentist, and also worked as an orthodontic practitioner before settling into private practice in the new forest over ten years ago.
Simons hobbies include music, reading and his new motorbike.
Pat joined Water Lane Dental in the autumn of 2020 and quickly became a popular member of the team.
Pat qualified from Kings London in 2008. Pat has worked locally in private practice for several years and brings with her a wealth of experience and skills. She has a special interest in cosmetic dentistry, in particular composite bonding. Composite bonding is the use of tooth coloured material to rebuild front teeth to improve their appearance. Pat is also able to offer short term adult orthodontics, improving the appearance of teeth in as little as six months. Using these skills Pat is able to transform your smile and create really stunning results.
We have recently welcomed dentist Dr Neha Rawal to Water Lane Dental. Dr Rawal qualified from Bristol Dental Hospital and after working in Salisbury for some time has now joined us in Totton. Her calm and empathetic manner will put the most nervous patient at ease.
Dr Rawal enjoys all aspects of general dentistry but especially enjoys cosmetic work. So if you are looking to improve the health and appearance of your smile.
Masooma graduated from the University of Sheffield in 2014 and has worked in general practice since then.
Throughout her career, she has dedicated herself to providing good quality standard of care to her patients. She values the importance of personal development and has a keen interest in furthering her knowledge and skills. She is currently pursuing a diploma in aesthetics and restorative dentistry. Masooma is also a certified Invisalign provider.
She is always committed to putting her patients first and providing treatment plans that are tailored to each of their individual needs. Her empathetic and calm manner also puts the patients at ease.
Outside of dentistry, Masooma enjoys badminton, reading and spending time with friends and family.
Originally from Italy, Jacopo has worked in the South of England for several years before joining Water Lane Dental.
Jacopo’s calm and reassuring manner will put even the most nervous patient at ease. In line with the practice ethos, Jacopo is invested in delivering excellent, long-lasting dentistry using modern materials and techniques.
Having recently completed a post graduate qualification in advanced aesthetic dentistry, Jacopo has now started an advanced qualification in root canal treatment, thus demonstrating his passion for learning. This translates into the highest standard of care to the patient.
Lisa has over twenty years dental experience, first as a Dental Nurse and now as a Dental Hygienist. In 2005 she qualified as a Dental Hygienist from The Eastman Dental Hospital in London. Lisa’s gentle and caring approach puts anxious patients at ease. Lisa is very keen on helping her patients achieve and maintain the best oral health possible and is constantly attending courses to keep up to date.
Lisa has worked locally for over ten years and is looking forward to looking after her patients at her new home in Water Lane.
In her spare time she enjoys running and entering fun runs with her family.
As a dental therapist Beth works independently helping you to achieve excellent oral health. Much of Beths work will be very similar to a dental hygienist helping you to gain and maintain a healthy mouth. Beth is also able to provide all types of fillings for adults and complete dental care for children’s teeth. Beth will be running our children’s care plan.
Water Lane Dental has teamed up with the New Forest Implant Centre to offer dental implants. Dr Loukas visits Water Lane Dental to place and restore dental implants. Please contact the practice if you would like to know more.
Steve has worked locally providing dentures to Totton for many years. We were lucky enough to persuade him to join Water Lane Dental during the covid outbreak. Steve is now an established and very popular member of the team offering his outstanding denture making services. Steve offers free initial consultations and will then be able to give you a bespoke estimate.
